Take a Professor to UMS:

It can be hard for an undergraduate to form a personal connection with their teachers in a 300-seat lecture hall or in the official business discussed during office hours. In an effort to provide additional campus opportunities for student/teacher networking, the University Musical Society is proud to launch "Take a Professor to UMS."

Based on the popular "Take a Professor to Lunch" program, this new program offers undergraduate students one free professor's ticket with the purchase of up to three $10 student tickets to any UMS performance in the 11/12 Season. You may invite a professor with whom you are currently studying or a professor you studied with during the last academic year. UMS recommends that you and your professor join up at a local coffee house for post-show treats and conversation -- we'll even throw in a coffeehouse gift card to get you started, compliments of Arts at Michigan.
