Opportunities to Support

Ticket revenues cover, on average, only 47% of the annual UMS Operating Budget -- the remaining funds to finance performances, education and community engagement programs, production costs and administrative expenses come from government agencies, foundations, corporate friends and private individuals.

In recent seasons, the generous support of the local and regional business community has accounted for, on average, 13% of the total UMS revenue needs.

There are many ways and many reasons to support UMS. Whether to speak to a specific audience, to show your support for a cultural gem in the region, or to do your part to keep the performing arts and arts education alive in the community, your gift to UMS will make a difference.

As a donor, you will receive benefits such as performance tickets, recognition in UMS marketing and advertising materials and exposure during the sponsored performance or special event. You will also be doing your part to help UMS continue its tradition of excellence in arts presentation, education and creation.
