Teacher Resource Guides
UMS Teacher Resource Guides help teachers extend the impact of our Youth Performances beyond the walls of the theater into the classroom. By providing educators specific information about the performance, artist, and genre, along with resources and lesson plans, UMS strives to make meaningful connections between the performance and their curriculum. The content and design of the guides are informed by the State of Michigan Education Standards and by our 30-member Teacher Advisory Committee.
07/08 Season guides are added to this site approximately four weeks prior to the performance date. Please check back then. You may wish to use the web links in the Youth Performance listing for additional information on each artist.
All Study Guides are in Adobe Acrobat [PDF] Format - these files can be large and take a considerable amount of time to download.
