On The Road is an annual dinner and auction that benefits UMS Education Programs, which bring arts experiences from around the world to over 25,000 students, teachers, and community members annually. This exciting evening features live and silent auctions, presented with the sights, sounds, and tastes of the Caribbean and Central and South America.
During the evening, enjoy authentic music with a strolling mariachi band and food carts piled high with delicious delicacies of Latin America. A Market Bazaar features a Wine Pull, interesting baskets, jewelry and other items that set the stage for our main event: the live auction. The live auction features exciting travel destinations and a great array of packages showing Ann Arbor as the place to be for culture, food, and entertainment for all ages! After the auction, an afterglow offers Los Gatos, Ann Arbor's own Salsa quintet, and Ya Salsa Dance Revolution who will help us "Tap our feet to the Latin Beat!"

ADMISSION:
$100 per person includes complimentary wine bar, gourmet strolling dinner and dessert, and post-auction afterglow with live music and dancing.

The Beneficiary
All proceeds from On the Road benefit UMS’s award-winning Education Programs. Since 2000, UMS has served 345 schools and nearly 100,000 students through its popular Youth Education program, which includes live performances, in-class visits, teacher workshops, and more. UMS also hosts dozens of adult educational opportunities each season, such as master classes, workshops, pre-concert lectures, and more for University students and the community at large.
